I’m impressed

I’ll admit, I was a little skeptical of the value proposition of Maui Nui. It is priced at a premium and I’m generally someone who hunts for bargains. That being said, I am willing to invest in this product because of the incredible quality. It is truly one of the best-tasting jerky sticks on the market—I’ve tried many. I also support the backstory and mission. If you’re not familiar, watch the video on their website. And the macros on this product are elite. I highly recommend.

I love venison, so to have a bone broth available is amazing, especially from Maui, as I live on a neighboring island, Oahu. Feels like I’m still supporting local & this broth has changed my lifestyle, my gut feels better after one week. I’ve also used it to replace coffee in the morning! Something warm & delicious to wake up to but not harming me the way coffee can.

Through sustainable wild-harvesting, we transform this overabundant species into a nutrient-dense, delicious food source that nourishes both our customers and our community.

When we say nutrient dense, we mean it:

Protein - 21G (43% DV)

Protein is important for cellular growth and it provides our tissues with protective strength. It sparks our metabolism and energy production, helps regulate our body chemistry, and maintains our body’s PH.

Niacin (B3) (41% DV)

Niacin (B3 or nicotinic acid) is the most stable B vitamin and, as a part of two coenzymes, it is involved in more than 50 metabolic functions in the body. Niacin helps maintain cholesterol levels, provides energy to cells, stimulates circulation, and supports a healthy nervous system. Increased Niacin is needed for athletes, during pregnancy/lactation, and during periods of growth.

Vitamin B12 (24% DV)

Vitamin B12 (cobalamin) is the only vitamin to contain the essential mineral cobalt.

B12 is well known for its energy and cognitive functions, but is also needed in the formation of red blood cells, DNA, and synthesis of the myelin sheath that insulates your neurons. It plays a critical role in the growth and appetite of children.

Choline (11% DV)

Choline is an important new member of the B vitamins and was deemed the “memory vitamin”. It is nestled into the fat layers of the membranes of every cell in the body and is the only vitamin that crosses the blood/brain barrier to be involved in brain chemical metabolism. Choline also serves in fat utilization in the body and detoxification.

Selenium (19% DV)

Selenium is an incredibly important trace mineral with numerous health benefits. It functions as a component of glutathione peroxidase, an enzyme responsible for the antioxidant properties of glutathione. Selenium supports cardiovascular health, heavy metal toxin protection, thyroid function, cognitive health, as well as growth, development, and fertility.

Chromium (83% DV)

Chromium is an essential part of the glucose tolerance factor (GTF) and is vital in regulating carbohydrate metabolism. It can enhance insulin function and support the proper use of glucose in the body as well as aid in energy production.

Zinc (14% DV)

Zinc is an essential mineral well known to support the immune system and metabolic function. Luckily for you, it is best absorbed in animal meats where it is free from binding phytates. It also has an important role in transporting vitamin A into the blood, thus contributing to healthy skin.

Heme Iron (11% DV)

Heme Iron is the most bio-available form of iron and is extremely hard to source at significant levels, even in red muscle meats.

Proper iron intake can support overall strength, vibrancy, and immune function as well as improve fatigue and stamina. The lack of iron means we produce less hemoglobin and therefore supply less oxygen to our tissues.
