Hearts
While most think of the heart as an organ (it is), it’s also a muscle… It's a muscular organ! An involuntary one that keeps on working, located in the central region of the thoracic cavity.
— HOW TO COOK
With a little planning, like a bath in red wine vinegar for at least 3 hours, preferably overnight, will help break down those muscle fibres and add even more flavor. A quick sear and you’ll be giving your body a nutritionally dense boost!
BEST FOR

When we say nutrient-dense, we mean it:
Protein - 17g
Protein is important for cellular growth and it provides our tissues with protective strength. It sparks our metabolism and energy production, helps regulate our body chemistry, and maintains our body’s PH.
Vitamin B12 - 292%
Vitamin B12 (cobalamin) is the only vitamin to contain the essential mineral cobalt.
B12 is well known for its energy and cognitive functions, but is also needed in the formation of red blood cells, DNA, and synthesis of the myelin sheath that insulates your neurons. It plays a critical role in the growth and appetite of children.
Chromium - 123%
Chromium is an essential part of the glucose tolerance factor (GTF) and is vital in regulating carbohydrate metabolism. It can enhance insulin function and support the proper use of glucose in the body as well as aid in energy production.
Selenium - 40%
Selenium is an incredibly important trace mineral with numerous health benefits. It functions as a component of glutathione peroxidase, an enzyme responsible for the antioxidant properties of glutathione. Selenium supports cardiovascular health, heavy metal toxin protection, thyroid function, cognitive health, as well as growth, development, and fertility.
Thiamin (B1) - 38%
Vitamin B1 (Thiamin) plays an important role in converting carbohydrates into energy. It is critical in the creation of the myelin sheath, providing protection to nerves throughout the body. Without it, we risk losing the proper function of our nervous system.
Thiamin is known to help muscle tone via the synthesis of acetylcholine and can prevent the accumulation of fatty deposits in the arteries.
Choline - 38%
Choline is an important new member of the B vitamins and was deemed the “memory vitamin”. It is nestled into the fat layers of the membranes of every cell in the body and is the only vitamin that crosses the blood/brain barrier to be involved in brain chemical metabolism. Choline also serves in fat utilization in the body and detoxification.
Vitamin E - 31%
Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant for the entire body and essential for the immune system, blood vessel health, and keeping skin youthful. More commonly found in plant oils and nuts, our venison heart has 2x the vitamin E as avocados (per 100g serving).
* Daily Value per 3.5 oz serving and a 2000 calorie diet.

Heart and live
Both excellent.

Left my heart in Maui
Delicious! New favorite

The Purest of Hearts is saving my life
To the great surprise of family in San Diego, California, my order arrived very well packed and frozen as the Siberian tundra. The hearts were tightly sealed. My extended family from Mexico had grown up with wild game hunted in the mountains of Jalisco, they had not had venison heart for decades. I rinsed and sauted the chopped hearts with fresh garlic, Redmond's salt and pepper in butter from Ireland. The heart was superb and every cell in my body leaped for joy as the nutrition came as a spring rain to a desert. Maui Nui meats is the foundation of me living again. I had Covid three times during the past two years. My employer demanded the Covid vaccine though I was ill and working from home. I ended up having a severe vacine reaction. I was of good weight but malnutritioned on the mainland's grain fed beef, industrial seed oils and highly processed carbohydrates with suger surreptitiously added to everything. Inflammed, my body burst forth with tumors of the eye, lungs, liver, pancreas and breast. I almost died. My wonderful doctor is the Director of the Scripps Cancer Center. He understands the special nutrition of the Maui Nui deer. I changed my life; I no longer put work first, I pray and meditate every day. I only eat the best. Maui Nui ground with liver and heart will be my staple every day. Maui Nui venison, liver, heart, wild caught salmon , free range eggs, heavy cream, low lectin veges. Grassfed fats such as Bison tallow, leaf lard, Irish butter. Absolutely all industrial oils, sugers, processed foods and industrial raised animals are banned. I went from unable to walk 100 feet due to lung inflammation to walking 8 miles. I have had the tumor removed from my eye and a week ago an aggressive tumor removed from my breast. The lung, liver and pancreas tumors are receding. Nutrition abounds in the hills of Maui Nui. The land is clean and the deer meat is nutrient packed. My body's desperate need for vitamins in the manner which God designed them to be consumed is honored. I am a study subject for the Covid Long Haulers Recovery program of Scripps Green Hospitol Torrey Pines, California. Thank you.
