Ke Au Hou, Vol. 18

It is impossible to put into words what the past year has felt like, what it has taught us, and how it has helped us to hone the visions we hold for the future. Thankfully, in partnership with the incredible team at LaCrosse Footwear, we are able to share with you a handful of our team's stories through Lacrosse's latest piece, Balance, a film produced by the super talent that is Justin Michau.

If you've been with us for a while now (or if you are new here), we encourage you to watch the piece not only for the way in which it has helped our own team to reflect on a year of unprecedented food-sharing and deep purpose, but also for some never-before-seen glimpses into our harvest and butcher systems, processes, and teams. Mahalo nui to the whole LaCrosse ʻohana for your years of support and for helping us to tell this story!

Equally impossible to fully express is our mahalo for all the support that has poured in to help holo ‘ai, to help rush food to where it was most needed in our communities over the past year. Our Kōkoʻo, our partners in this work have stepped in in numerous ways—from help with funding and logistics to moving, storing and even cooking venison within our communities.

Kōkoʻo range from our longtime ranch partnerships to brand new hub relationships formed over the last few weeks. He leo mahalo, we want express so much thanks to you all!
