Excellent

Peppered Bar, Original Sticks, Stew Chunks from starter box were beyond expectations. Made tacos from stew meat using Jordan Cabatic recipe. Oh boy . . . delicious. Ground Venison and Rib Rack are next on the menu. Not one to wait, I have since subscribed to Bone Broth and Peppered Bars.

No need to eat beef or lamb again

I've eaten game (boar, venison) in France, but never imagined making it myself. I read about Maui Nui in the New York Times and decided to try my hand at cooking with venison. I used a recipe for venison stew from Bon Appetit and I couldn't believe how simple it was to make and how good it tasted. The recipe does call for bacon drippings, but there was virtually no fat to skim once the stew cooled. And it was absolutely delicious. I look forward to trying the other cuts.
