RECIPE: Basil Venison Burgers

This easy recipe is a favorite of the Muise girls, who are always willing to help lend a hand mixing all the ingredients together. Get the whole family involved and get ready for a quick dinner that’s sure to become a regular on your weekly dinner menu.
Ingredients
- 1 pound Maui Nui Ground Venison
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup wheat bran
- 1/2 a chopped onion
- 2 minced garlic cloves
- 2 generous dollops of your favorite basil pesto
- Salt and pepper to taste
DIRECTIONS
Step 1
Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl using your hands, being careful not to overwork the meat to ensure tender, juicy burgers.
Step 2
Form the patties into your desired size and shape. Makes great sliders!
Step 3
We like ours on the grill, but you can also easily pan-fry these on the stovetop over medium heat to your desired temperature.
