This easy recipe is a favorite of the Muise girls, who are always willing to help lend a hand mixing all the ingredients together. Get the whole family involved and get ready for a quick dinner that’s sure to become a regular on your weekly dinner menu.
INGREDIENTS:
1 pound of ground venison
1 egg
1/2 cup of wheat bran
1/2 a chopped onion
2 minced garlic cloves
2 generous dollops of your favorite basil pesto
Salt and pepper to taste
STEP 1: Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl using your hands, being careful not to overwork the meat to ensure tender, juicy burgers.
STEP 2: Form the patties into your desired size and shape. Makes great sliders!
STEP 3: We like ours on the grill, but you can also easily pan-fry these on the stovetop over medium heat to your desired temperature.
STEP 4: Enjoy with your favorite toppings (and people)!
