Stew Chunks
Conventional wisdom says that the shoulder is made up of harder working muscles since it’s responsible for supporting most of the weight of the animal, but with a few cuts here and there and the help of a saw we can make more quick-cooking and more tender cuts.
— HOW TO COOK
Cut from the shoulder to ensure there’s enough healthy fat (fat = flavor), our venison stew chunks will have you firing up your dutch oven or plugging in your Instant Pot and making every season stew season.
BEST FOR

When we say nutrient-dense, we mean it:
Protein - 21g (43% DV)
Protein is important for cellular growth and it provides our tissues with protective strength. It sparks our metabolism and energy production, helps regulate our body chemistry, and maintains our body’s PH.
Niacin (B3) - 41%
Niacin (B3 or nicotinic acid) is the most stable B vitamin and, as a part of two coenzymes, it is involved in more than 50 metabolic functions in the body. Niacin helps maintain cholesterol levels, provides energy to cells, stimulates circulation, and supports a healthy nervous system. Increased Niacin is needed for athletes, during pregnancy/lactation, and during periods of growth.
Vitamin B12 - 24%
Vitamin B12 (cobalamin) is the only vitamin to contain the essential mineral cobalt.
B12 is well known for its energy and cognitive functions, but is also needed in the formation of red blood cells, DNA, and synthesis of the myelin sheath that insulates your neurons. It plays a critical role in the growth and appetite of children.
Choline - 11%
Choline is an important new member of the B vitamins and was deemed the “memory vitamin”. It is nestled into the fat layers of the membranes of every cell in the body and is the only vitamin that crosses the blood/brain barrier to be involved in brain chemical metabolism. Choline also serves in fat utilization in the body and detoxification.
Selenium - 185%
Selenium is an incredibly important trace mineral with numerous health benefits. It functions as a component of glutathione peroxidase, an enzyme responsible for the antioxidant properties of glutathione. Selenium supports cardiovascular health, heavy metal toxin protection, thyroid function, cognitive health, as well as growth, development, and fertility.
Chromium - 83%
Chromium is an essential part of the glucose tolerance factor (GTF) and is vital in regulating carbohydrate metabolism. It can enhance insulin function and support the proper use of glucose in the body as well as aid in energy production.
Zinc - 14%
Zinc is an essential mineral well known to support the immune system and metabolic function. Luckily for you, it is best absorbed in animal meats where it is free from binding phytates. It also has an important role in transporting vitamin A into the blood, thus contributing to healthy skin. Your body also uses Zinc to make proteins and DNA, as well as heal wounds and develop your reproductive system.
Heme Iron - 11%
Heme Iron is the most bio-available form of iron and is extremely hard to source at significant levels, even in red muscle meats.
Proper iron intake can support overall strength, vibrancy, and immune function as well as improve fatigue and stamina. The lack of iron means we produce less hemoglobin and therefore supply less oxygen to our tissues.
* Daily Value per 3.5 oz serving and a 2000 calorie diet.

Venison Bouguignon - Excellent
The stew chunks arrived well packed, frozen solid, with a dry ice pack to ensure that the temperature within the box was stable. We made the most amazing tasting venison bourguignon with the meat. It turned out tender and delicious!

Chunks of goodness
Since I discovered this stew meat, I've not used anything else for stews. Absolutely delicious, and pretty dang tender. Bonus tip: brown this stuff and add it with ground in your chili for a Texas style, meatier chili. Let it simmer a few hours, and you're wife and friends will thank you.

Venison stew meat
This meat was amazing. I braised it and put it into our trusty crock pot. It turned out so tender and mouthwatering delicious. I believe it is all due to the source of this venison.

Delicious Burgers
Live all the way in Florida and got the meat frozen and in perfect condition. Made great burgers and another meal had a delicious spaghetti with the ground venison.
