RECIPE: Whole-Wheat Pizza Crust

Here’s a new way to enjoy our All-Natural Venison Sticks As pizza toppings! This classic pizza crust is the perfect base for your favorite cheeses, veggies, and meats. Simply bake it up, top it off, and don’t be afraid to get creative. Makes 2 medium crusts.

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup white flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 2 1/4 tsp instant yeast (1 packet)
  • 1 cup warm water
DIRECTIONS
Step 1

Combine flour and salt in a small bowl.

Step 2

In a larger bowl, dissolve honey and yeast in warm water and let sit for 7 mins.

Step 3

Stir in dry ingredients, knead and let rise for about an hour or until double in size.

Step 4

Preheat oven to 450°. Spread dough on pizza pan and bake for 5 mins.

Step 5

Remove from oven, add toppings, and bake for another 12-15 mins at 500°.
