We made a bolognese with 1 packet of ground and we seared up a pack of leg medallions and made a chimichurri sauce with mashed potatoes and grilled veggies~ they were amazingly tender! We are so thrilled about having a different kind of meat filling our freezers~ we love it!

United StatesI debated ordering this for ages because my previous experience with venison was not good--dry and gamey tasting. I'm here to tell you that this is some of the most delicious meat I've ever eaten and it is not in the least bit gamey. I also give a big thumbs up to the recipes. I'm a good cook but was a little hesitant to work with such a lean cut of meat. The dishes I've made using the recipes have been just outstanding. If you're hesitating because you are concerned about the taste then I don't think you have anything to worry about. It's pricey but well worth the quality on what I've experienced so far.

United StatesWe had the leg medallions with mushrooms and grilled onions .. .it was fantastic I have hunted the world over and always loved venison but this Axis deer is one of the cleanest ,leanest tasty meats I’ve had in a long time .
